    Hey there,
This review article is great because I have a grandma who suffers from hearing loss and she needs a much better hearing aide. This one seems very useful and I will send my grandma this article so she can check it out. Maybe I will get her one for her birthday.

The Otofonix looks like a great hearing amplifier. I need to show this to my grandmother, I am always repeating myself when speaking with her.

Does insurance help cover some of this cost? While $379.99 seems like a small price to pay for better hearing I know she would be more likely to make a purchase if she got some help on the cost.

I am sorry that I cannot answer you as I am not familiar with insurance. Maybe you can contact the insurance company for inquiry. Hope your grandmother find this hearing aid useful.

Thank you for this review. I have noticed that sometimes I don’t hear as well as I used to. Do you recommend a hearing test before purchasing one of these?
I realize that it is called an amplifier. Does that mean that it it for only those who are just slightly hearing impaired? I have never used anything like this before and am investigating all of my options before spending my money of this type of product.

Of course, you should conduct a hearing test. If your hearing loss is mild, then you can try Otofonix Hearing Aid as it is for mild hearing loss. Quite informative! I wear hearing aids and have spent thousands and been disappointed. I recently lost my left ear device and am due to go to the hearing aid place tomorrow. Does the company take any insurance? I have Humana and they do provide some coverage. I have bookmarked your page and maybe will check them out. I have to see what happens tomorrow!

Dennis, I am sorry about your case. For the insurance, I cannot answer you as I am not sure about the policy of insurance. Hope you find the article useful in future.

great article. love the videos. thanks for the article.
2 things with me here. one is my nan, and the other is me.

my left ear is a lot of bother. i am absolutely certain i here less with my left ear. i have thought of purchasing some sort of ear aid for a long time but have refrained. instead i have been seeing the doctors. its been a few months, and still the same issue, still not resolved. still seeing doctors. frustrating to say the least.

i am not sure if my nan has a hearing aid. and if so whether she uses it. and if so how much. either way whenever i remind her who i am she thinks i am saying i am someone else!!! maybe this would help.

is it one of those ones that are universal and safe for anyone to buy or should me and my nan be speaking to the doctors and getting their opinion first?

    thank you.

It is better to see the audiologist to take a hearing test and ask for opinion first. If you find your nan hearing loss is mild, you can try Otofonix Hearing Amplifier as it is designed to cater the need of mild hearing loss patients.
